Preview Of The 2010 AJC Sires Produce Stakes

The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival is off and running and the 2010 AJC Sires Produce Stakes will definitely be a feature event taking place on the 10th of April.
The Group 1 race which spans 1,400 metres will draw some of the country’s top two-year-old colts and geldings to the Royal Randwick Racecourse all hoping to get a share in the $300,000 on offer.

The Group 1 race will draw some of the country’s top two-year-old colts and geldings.

The Golden Slipper Stakes (1200 m) which will take place on the third of April, and the Champagne Stakes (1600m) held on the 24th of April, form the two-year-old “Triple Crown” in conjunction with the 2010 AJC Sires Produce Stakes.

Last year’s winner was the Gai Waterhouse-trained Manhattan Rain.
Also taking place will be the Group 1 Australian Derby (2400m), the Group 1 T. J. Smith Stakes (1200m), the Group 1 Chairman’s Handicap (2600m), and the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m).
