2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes – Final Field Announced

The final field and barrier draw for the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes running at Morphettville this Saturday April 9, 2011, have now been released.

11 talented juveniles have accepted for the $115,000 race that will run as Race 5 and is due to jump at 2.20pm (ACST).

The 1400m SA Sires’ Produce Stakes is a set-weight race open to two-year-olds only.

Triple Asset will be attempting to win four races in a row when she takes to the track for Saturday’s SA Sires’ Produce Stakes.

The John Key-trained filly has already won two of the biggest Group 3 races on the horse racing calendar and is out to claim her third.

Triple Asset has drawn perfectly in the barrier draw and will jump from gate two in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes.

Peter Moody’s Cute Emily will be attempting to win her third unbeaten start when she competes in the Group 3 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes on Saturday.

Jeff O’Conner, who is Peter Moody’s stable manager, was full of praise for Cute Emily.

“She’s exceeded our expectations this preparation,” O’Connor said.

Cute Emily will carry the set 54.5 kilograms for fillies in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes and will jump from gate one.

Darren Weir’s Cash Bound and John Thompson’s Win For Wilson have also been confirmed as starters in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes.
