Yankee Rose has continued to receive plenty of support in 2016 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes betting markets and has cut into outright favouritism at a current quote of $3.70 with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Trialling well in the lead-up to her competitive debut, Yankee Rose immediately stamped herself as a filly to follow when delivering a notable field a comfortable defeat in the Viridian Lightbridge Plate (1100m) on October 31st.

Repeating the dose in the Jimmy Cassidy Golden Gift (1100m) three weeks later, the All American filly was rated little chance of success in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) first-up a fortnight ago but savaged the line for a close second.

Appearing as though she will relish a step up to 1400m, Yankee Rose will carry a very-manageable 54.5kgs in the 2016 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes.

Telperion has received steady support in 2016 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes betting markets but is now second-favourite at $3.90 odds for success.

Debuting for third behind Yankee Rose in the Viridian Lightbridge Plate, Telperion was immediately returned to the paddock with a view towards autumn and resumed on February 13th for a comfortable win in the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m).

Progressing to fourth in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes (1200m), the son of Street Cry trialled well ahead of the Golden Slipper and produced a strong late turn of foot to finish a pleasing fourth in the world’s richest two-year-old race.

James McDonald takes the ride on Telperion in the ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes, who should receive a dream run in transit from barrier 4.

Omei Sword undoubtedly faces her biggest task to date this weekend but is worth consideration for at bet at current ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes odds of $5.50.

Debuting for success in the Peter Svendsen Maiden (1100m) at Rosehill on February 24th, Omei Sword made a commendable transition to black type racing when second behind Calliope in the Group 2 Magic Night Stakes (1200m) on March 12th.

Seaburge ($8) interestingly figures as the only other runner currently available at ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes odds of less-than $10, while Good Standing ($10) and Zamzam ($17) represent terrific value at double-figure quotes.
